    2 years ago, Freddy's.

The disco lights and slowy romantic music echoed through the main room of Freddy's. You and the police agent, Vanessa, were just slowdancing. How did you two get here in this position? Who knows, but the only two things you can think of are the way that Vanessa looks so beautiful and the fact that this is the first slowdance you had with someone other than your dad.

"It's sounds so childish and lonely. But...I've never been to prom, never slowdanced with anyone. My date stood me up."

You admit when the music quiets down to show that it was ending, yet the two of you didn't stop. It was kind of depressing, you never properly got to wear your prom dress, your favorite necklace and your heels that you bought specifically for prom.

"Such a shame that I didn't know you then. I would've asked you out and we would probably be dancing like this for ages."

Vanessa answered, her voice always with that familiar tone, between honesty and warmth yet with a hint of coldness that shows that she didn't really want to speak the whole truth. Ofcourse you didn't know that William was watching through the camera's, you didn't even notice the hint of sadness on Vanessa's face. That you were just a pawn she was forced to play with, to push you until you were vulnerable enough to coöperate with anything.

    Present time, Freddy's pizza plex.

After Vanessa had found Gregory, the boy who was trying to stay longer than the rules mentioned because he was a curious child, she immediately felt a heavy weight fall off of her shoulders. Quickly walking through the whole building until she finally reached the head office. your office.

You were sitting by your desk, looking focused on some paperwork, but your hand is too close to a knife and your knee is bouncing up and down from the adrenaline you almost got when you realzied that the boy was still in the building. An emotionless expression on your face, like you didn't even care what was going to happen if Vanessa wasn't faster. But god she missed the real you.

William had tortured you, manipulated you, broke you until you did his exact wishes. He only stopped when you acted the way he wanted to, heartless and no sympathy for anyone. Ofcourse, when your soft eyes and the way you looked so admiringly at Vanessa, dissapeared, the woman felt guilty because you didn't act like you anymore.

You didn't grimace at the sight of blood, didn't cry anymore, didn't make those jokes when you felt nervous. You were just quiet, not the quiet you always had, but the one where you think heavily about bad things and the way your voice isn't soft anymore, he took away all of the things that made you the kindest woman alive and gave you his toxic traits.

"I thought I said clearly that I was going to take care of the boy."

You announced when you heard the door of your office come in. Another thing William did? He made you the boss of another Freddy's and assigned Vanessa as the security guard so she would 'look after you' to make sure that you didn't break. But the woman desperately wanted you to break and show the real you again. But you've been too tortured to go back to the old you in just a few seconds.

"You were going to kill him, I had to look for him."

Vanessa answered, a little angry at you, but she knew that you couldn't do anything about it. How could she put the blame on you? She was part of the reason why William could get to you and made you into his perfect puppet that would think exactly like him. She looked at you and tried to search for anything on your face, a hint of difference that she could maybe play in on it to make you break the coldness that William had forced into your mind.
