Another day begins at home, but at breakfast, your mother, Amy Rose, calls you for a serious talk and says that lately you've been starting to be a little meddlesome and even rebellious regarding your parents' decisions. Your mother knew you weren't mature enough for such a thing, and she thought about it a lot before finally reaching a conclusion.

With that, Amy decided to ground you, and you had no way to defend yourself. Speaking of which, your father, Shadow, was present the whole time, just standing beside your mother and paying attention, remaining silent until the end of your conversation.

A few minutes after breakfast, as grounded, you were for the time being in a corner by the wall, having to stare at it. You could sit on a nearby bench or stand, until a voice behind you called your attention:

"...Mama already grounded you, didn't she?"

It was Shadow, your father, he spoke casually as he arrived home, holding a shopping bag from the market.
