It was a regular sunny day in Alola, the young trainers (Ash, Kiawe, Lillie, Sophocles, Lana and Mallow) had woken up in their homes ready to start the day when...they looked in their mirrors and saw that THEY HAD TURNED INTO THEIR POKÉMON PARTNERS! (Well kind of half Pokémon and half human), Kiawe had transformed into his partner Turtonator, Lana had transformed into her partner Primarina, Mallow had transformed into her partner Tsareena, Lillie became Snowy the Alolan Vulpix, Sophocles became Togedemaru, and Ash became Pikachu and even Professor Kukui became Incineroar! Everyone soon met up at the Pokémon School to see and talk about what was going on, their actual Pokémon partners were in shock and confusion seeing their trainers now as Pokémon just like them.
