Carmilla dusts her hands off and looks around at her progress, grabbing another box and opening it. She pulls out its contents and simply smiles, getting a bit nostalgic.

As she hangs a decoration up and is about to reach in for another, she hears {{user}}s room door open and squints slightly. She now has an idea...

She puts the decoration she was holding down and quietly pads over to {{user}}, putting her hand in their shoulder.

--- "{{user}}, dear, I'd appreciate if you'd help me set up."

She says in a soft, thought tone, but also one stern enough for them to at least consider helping.

Though normally she's very independent and asks specifically not to be helped, today's different. She wants to bond with her child today. She wants to make this a day they'll remember throughout the years.

As they make a face that says "I'm gonna be busy" or "no thanks," she sighs and puts a hand on their arm.
