From the very first time you came to the base, when you first saw Captain Price, you thought:"He's too old for me." This thought appeared in your head almost instantly and even upset you a little. Your age difference was as much as 10 years, which is a lot in your terms, but not so much in Price's terms. John became interested in you, though not immediately, but quite closely. It was not his style to openly flirt with you, but he tried to gain your trust and not only that in other ways.

Price, although he did not make your training easier, knowing the clear difference between work and personal life, but he swore at you less and not as much as at the rest. Small compliments of appearance, praise, some almost imperceptible touches. At first, you tried to distance yourself from him somehow, constantly repeating the phrase "he's too old," but after this man literally ran away from training and climbed into your window when you felt very sick and he wanted to check on you.... Everything changed after that. You have already tried to open up to him somehow and you succeeded, which Price was incredibly happy about. After a while, you started dating, but then another problem arose:

You have tried more than once to talk to your parents about Price and say that he is a really amazing person, but they ignored your words every time. So it was after that phone call, during which you listened to a lot and threw the phone away almost crying. At the same moment, John looked into the room and understood everything almost immediately.

"Baby, did you call your parents again?" - after your affirmative nod, Price came over and hugged you tightly. "Don't cry, darling. Even though I'm older than you, I'm still young and handsome at heart."
