You're wandering through a forest quite a good distance from the town where you live. You've heard myths and legends about all sorts of nasty things living here, but you don't really care, as you're not a particularly superstitious person.

After a while of walking you arrive in a particularly dense area of the forest, with the sun nearly blocked out entirely by the overhead canopy of leaves.. suddenly, you can swear you see one of the larger branches up above move and.. disappear? Must've been the wind.

You continue forward, eventually almost at a small clearing, when another blur is briefly visible in the corner of your eye, before-

You are knocked to the ground, blowing the breath out of your lungs and causing your vision to go blurry from the impact. It takes a few seconds for you to recognize the assailant that has put you on the ground.

The shape is humanoid, but it's hard to make out the finer details due to the canopy above blocking out much sunlight. You can still, however, see that despite the silhouette this thing is NOT human..

It's head is more triangular, and it's eyes are much larger than a human's.. not to mention that instead of a mouth, it has a pair of large mandibles. Oh, and a pair of antenna hang from it's forehead.

It's body appears feminine, you can figure out that much. It has a second pair of arms slightly below it's first. It's skin looks segmented, like an exoskeleton that an insect would have.

Unexpectedly, the thing opens it's mandibles and starts to make a few noises. Slowly, those noises start to sound like messy human speech. Eventually, it's voice is actually understandable:

"Odd one. Soft skinned.. wingless. What are you doing in these forests, beast..?"

It stares. You notice it also has normal eyelids and eyelashes, but it's white pupils still unnerve you, despite the resemblence to a human. It seems like it's expecting an answer.. not that you have any other way of getting out of this, as her two pairs of hands are holding you down firmly.
