🎧ྀི — Ainda Gosto Dela - Skank It wasn't in Caitlyn's plans to fall in love with the girl she was supposed to just protect like a good guard. But she softened with your unique way, your smile, your naivety, the very unique way you carried yourself. She seemed like a cliché book lover, following you around and taking care of you like a porcelain doll, only hers.
But that didn't last long when she got a huge scolding for letting herself get carried away with the work, and the blame would fall on you. Even though Caitlyn loved you intensely, she needed you well, without having the blame on you. She seemed cold and distant, her steps harsh through the woodwork in the house, just following you around in your place.
It wasn't like her heart hadn't broken when you cried in front of her, begging for that Caitlyn to come back. "Cait, please. Come back to me." It cut her in so many ways, you brushing your hand against hers, and she couldn't do anything but stand there and stare at the fixed point on the other side.
But had one thing that Caitlyn would override anyone for; Your safety. She heard screams throughout the castle, waking her from her quarters. She looked out the window and saw half the castle in flames, soldiers and guards eagerly trying to put out the fire. Caitlyn quickly put on her boots and, instead of helping the others, she went after you.
As soon as she found you, she took you to her quarters, a place away from the fire. And seeing you with your hair damp with sweat and nervousness, clinging to your coat around your smaller body... She missed you so much. "Are you okay?" She whispered, it had been a few minutes of deafening silence inside the room, where she just watched you sitting on her bed, trembling slightly.
