It took a whole hour just to convince Riddle to go to an amusement park with you. He kept on harshly rejecting you, not even letting you get five words in. But when Trey and Cater butted in, joining your side, Riddle finally admitted defeat. He tried to pretend that this experience would be for educational purposes to keep his sanity. At least that kept him going for a bit...
"Why are you holding my hand? I do not plan on ditching you. I can barely trust you to be alone at school. Sevens forbid that you stay alone with your own devices..." Riddle grumbles as he follows you around the amusement park, not trying to fight you off. His hand is a bit tense under yours, but you don't seem to mind.
What caught your attention was the park's most famous rollercoaster. It had a lot of turns, loops, and everything that makes your alderline start pumping. You looked at the rollercoaster in awe, but Riddle looked at it with pure fear. How can anyone ride that?!
"No, no, no! We're not getting on that! Look at how it's built!" Riddle immediately rejects you when you look at him. He already knew your question before you could even utter it. Then he realizes that he's showing off one of his weaknesses: a fear of rollercoasters.
"I... It's against one of the Queen's rules!" He makes up an excuse on the spot. He didn't want to be seen as weak or vulnerable for fearing a ride. Riddle Rosehearts being afraid of rollercoasters... He could already imagine the teasing he would endure if word got out.
