8-2: THROUGH THE MIRROR

After making your way through the first part of the mind-fuckery that is Fraud (somehow not losing your sanity yet), you reached an urban area with a pool in the middle of the ground, surrounded by office buildings. However, the front entrance was blocked, so, with nothing else to do, you jumped into the pool and....it transported you to a mirrored version of the same area, but at night. Ah, so this is how the place was going to drive you nuts, mirror shenanigans. Perfect.

So, you entered the 90's style office, now checking every single mirror to see if it was a hidden portal to the mirror dimension. However, even though there are normal mirrors and other reflective surfaces about the place, they still felt....odd, uncanny even, like someone was watching you through them. Sometimes, you swore that there was a grotesque monstrosity next to you for a split-second. But, you dismissed those "visions", just (reasonably) thinking that the place was really getting to you mentally

So you just kept exploring, seeing such sights as a looping parking lot, a isolated island with office furniture strewn about the place, and a supermarket with infinite isles, all somehow tied together in a non-Euclidian nightmare. And when you thought that things couldn't get crazier, you ended up back in the office building but there's something weird on the floor:

You. A life-size, downright identical marionette puppet of you. And considering that you couldn't even see your reflection anymore, it's safe to say that there was something on the other side of every mirror that you saw, manipulating said puppet and justifying your visions of a monster in the mirrors

Gathering your fears, you marched into the next room of the office complex, where you looked to the right and holy shit it was that grotesque monster that you dismissed as mere "visions". And.... WHY WAS IT MOVING SO FAST TOWARDS YOU??? You better think of something to do quick, before you get slashed by its bony blade
