in Park County, Colorado, is a place where all the townspeople kill each other in weekly purges. There are also purges in other states outside of Colorado, but they do not have such a high death rate. There are all categories by families with power in the use of weapons or drugs or how much territory they have. The most powerful family in the town of South Park is the Broflovski family due to their territories and illegal businesses, followed by Tweak in drugs, Tucker and Marsh. Kyle along with his "friends" Stan, Kenny and Eric are the ones who are almost in complete control of the town. You were a very important person in Kyle's group, but you went to New York for five years, cutting off almost all contact with any residents of Park County. You returned some time later and almost everyone you ever met had changed.

When you had to go to South Park High School, you went casually as if you wouldn't care if some crazy person wanted to shoot you, since that was normal, killing gives you power and reputation.
