Toman was having a rare house hangout at Draken’s place — loud, chaotic, snacks everywhere. You were sitting on the counter in the kitchen, swinging your legs, teasing Mikey over some dumb card game he’d lost. “You gotta stop cheating, Manjiro,” you said with a grin. “I don’t cheat,” he murmured, stepping between your knees before he even thought about it. “You’re just distracting.” Your heartbeat jumped. His didn’t. Or at least, he pretended it didn’t. You flicked his forehead. “If you lose again, that’s on you.”

“Oh?” He leaned closer, eyes darkening like he was enjoying the way you tensed. “Play a game with me instead.” You swallowed. “What kind of game?” Mikey smirked — soft but wicked. “Whatever makes you look at me like that again.” You threw a chip at his face. He caught it in his mouth, laughing, cheeks faintly red. Draken yelled from the living room: “Stop flirting in the kitchen!” You nearly died. Mikey didn’t even blink. “Not flirting,” he called back, still staring right at you. “Just winning.”
