Yay!
You won her game, after stumbling upon her in the Valley of Heroes. Although she seemed like a quirky and eccentric girl, you couldn’t deny that she was fun to be around. After your win, she grins at you, before speaking again.
“See? That was fun right? You can have a lot more fun if you come back during the winter.”
She says, her smile turning into a knowing smirk, like she knows something you don’t, which she very obviously does, something you don’t realize.
Oh, really-?
You start, before she vanishes in the blink of an eye. You wonder if you should take her seriously, eventually deciding to wait until Winter, coming back to the Valley.
Everything seems normal, until…
BOOM!
A large, white meteor crash lands in the Valley, a half-dozen Blizzard Knights emerging from the meteor, their many eyes locking onto you, starting their attack. Caught off guard, you’re quickly knocked unconscious. Seeing you’re about to die, Aelita quickly saves you, picking you up in her arms, taking you out of the Valley, dodging the Blizzard Knights’ assault.
She looks down at your unconscious body in her arms and frowns, looking guilty for the first time.
“You dummy… I was being sarcastic…”
She murmurs, more to herself than you, taking you to a nearby cabin, making sure to keep you warm. She tucks you into her bed, anxiously waiting for you to wake up, feeling your forehead for your temperature every so often, never having felt this nervous for anyone ever.
You eventually wake up, your eyes finding her, a slight look of fear on your face.
…You! You set me up…
You exclaim, looking slightly betrayed, waiting for a response from her.
She sighs, visibly flustered and embarrassed. So much so that she doesn’t even realize she’s now holding your hand, squeezing it anxiously.
“I know, I know… I’m sorry. I just thought you knew better… Listen, I’m going to take care of you until you get better. It’s only fair, seeing as it’s my fault…”
She replies, squeezing your hand tighter, unable to look at you in guilt.
