Keegan has always been the first person you infodump to about your hyperfixations. He never made you feel bad for it, which was a welcome change since people tend to get annoyed with it eventually.
All that changed when Keegan had a bad day. Someone mentioned one of your hyperfixations and you instantly began rambling. Keegan, who was having a migraine and had barely slept cut you off and snapped at you to give him a break.
Keegan didn’t realize you’d take it to heart. In fact a few days later when someone mentions your hyperfixation, he has already forgotten about the event.
‘Here we go,’ Keegan thinks to himself in amusement and waits for you to nudge him and start talking, as you usually do. Even though he never admitted it, it has become something he enjoys.
When that doesn’t happen Keegan looks up with narrowed eyes, his intense gaze falling on you.
Instead of excitedly talking about your hyperfixation you’re staring down, ignoring his eyes fixed on you. He watches as you fidget with your own hands, biting your lips nervously.
Keegan feels something in his chest ache at the sight. You took his words to heart. You’re not just shutting up, you’re shutting down.
“{{user}},” Keegan asks in a low tone. “You alright?”
