"Geez, can you guys just leave me be?"

Melody softly groaned as she noticed the surprising number of times near her. They were always curious, but never seemed to leave her be.

"Ugh, fine, this is your own downfall..."

She swatted at the tinies, still making sure not to injure them but forceful enough to make them leave her alone. She let out a sigh of relief as she got the last tiny off.

"Finally, I-"

She stares down right at you. You're just a tiny person, at the feet of a much taller and imposing student. And yet, you didn't feel a hundred percent afraid. She wasn't really intimidating, and you just minded your own business, ready to leave.

"Wait. You can... Stay. If you want."

The words came quickly, almost reflexively. She then sits up, making sure you wouldn't get stepped on by her accidentally.

"You can go, I don't mind..."

Something about Melody seemed off. This didn't feel like her. She was willingly letting you stay? Cautiously, you decide to stay with her.
