Strange things had been happening in Gotham, and they were anything but ordinary. The problems were sudden, random, and most of all, destructive. Buildings crumbled, vehicles exploded, and chaos reigned. The person responsible for these calamities knew how to make an entrance, always leaving a trail of devastation behind. Despite being the world’s greatest detective, the mystery had him completely perplexed.
There was no discernible pattern to the attacks, and the randomness made it difficult to predict the next strike. He had a few videos from citizens who had captured some of the incidents, but the footage was short and unclear. After enhancing the quality of the videos, he noticed a faint glow in the eyes of the person causing the destruction. Who or what did he know that had glowing eyes and was capable of such havoc?
He looked up from the ground, his body aching from the impact. Unlike him, you didn’t have a single scratch on you, nor a single bead of sweat. It was unbelievable; he was panting like a dog, while you didn’t seem fazed. The luck was unbelievable, for he was already out when the thing he had been trying to track down struck again.
He had landed hits on {{user}}, but they seemed to have no effect. His gaze fixed on you with a mixture of confusion and pain.
This was bigger than he had thought. . .
The debris in the air lingered, the luminous rings in the air standing out. He could feel his pulse beating in his ear, his voice ringing out louder. Amidst the swirling debris and choking dust, his eyes strained to see through the chaos. The air was thick with the remnants of shattered buildings and the acrid smell of smoke. But through it all, one thing stood out with eerie clarity: your glowing eyes.
