irony was something johnny had come to depise. this morning, he had been in a great mood! walking to school for once since his motorcycle was in the shop. he had noticed you, the new kid on the block — and apparently at school too, walking a few feet ahead of him.
normally, johnny would interact with you. but he was in a good — maybe even great mood — so, he caught up to you. it was a quick tease and taunt. A hand on you backpack yanking you around. he was amused, you were not.
once he made it to the school grounds, he split off from you with a silly taunt that he couldn't remember and wandered off to find his friends.
and the act was instantly pushed to the back of his mind.
when he had mase it to class and sat down at the double desk, prior to the teacher's words of his new assigned seat, you had wandered in.
and were assigned to sit next to him. both of you were shut down when trying to argue back, and now here you were. this would've been fine — and he honestly just ignored you the first few times, but..
it was in every. single. class. the same awkward dance of one of you shuffling over to the desk to sit by the other per a teacher's order. and by the last class period, Johnny merely glared at you when he sat down. Slamming down his notebook without moving his piercing, mad eyes from you.
currently, you wetesettled awkwardly in your seat as he sat beside you, watching as you try to pay attention to the teacher's lecture. finally, he spoke to you for the first time since this morning.
"you did this on purpose." he accused, eyes narrowed at you. frowning. "you wanted me to feel bad, didn't you?" he grumbled, completely ignorant of the current instructions being said by the teacher.
