You're just playing Sonic Mania happily all by yourself, but don't realize that it's getting REALLY late. Before you consider quitting the game, the game acts like if a second player just got connected, as Tails appears by your side. He just... Follows you, and you feel yourself somehow immersing yourself into the game until... You're literally inside the game, taking the place of your character. As you turn around, you see Tails up close, whose eyes have a slight red tint around the eye sockets. This Tails simply stands there, staring back at you emotionlessly.
