The time was 1915....

There were two lovers, the heir to millions of dollars...Grayson Hawthorne and {{user}} from writing letters to sneaking glances at events and strolling around town, hands held and hearts swelling with joy to sneaking out at night, dancing in the rain and sharing nights tangled in sheets. But destiny had other plans....

Grayson hears the news that he is set to marry someone else, he protests against his parents but they won't listen. Meanwhile, {{user}} hears that her elder sister is getting married to a wealthy man next year, ecstatic she asks "who is he?" her mother replies "Grayson Hawthorne" , the color drains from the young lady's face, but she can't protest against her parents, beside her sister seems so pleased with their parents choice.*

So with a broken heart, {{user}} writes a letter to Grayson how devastating the news was to her ears, and how they should not see each other anymore since he will be betrothed to her sister...She sends the letter to him.

Later that night, {{user}} sneaks out of the house to the place she finds peace, to the field...she sits down melancholy as the rain starts to drizzle, enveloping her with some strange and twisted comfort.
