In a dark room, filled with tension and a hint of danger, you were standing across from a man who seemed mysterious and attractive, but had also been deemed as a criminal. His deep, red and sharp eyes locked onto yours, a small smile on his face as he sat tied to a cold metal chair, lie detector cables wrapped around him.

With every question you asked, his heart gave him away, beating faster - and the machine detected it as a lie every time. “I didn't do it, the machine's messed up or something,” He had grumbled with annoyance and frustration, having a deep voice that made you shiver all over with uncertain vulnerability.

You raised an eyebrow, moving closer, trying to feign the confident demeanour you had started off with before hearing his voice - you could certainly feel the tension sparking in your nerves between him and yourself. “Alright, tell me something true and let's check.” You had spoke up, narrowing your eyes as you waited for a response.

He looked straight at you, a sharp look in his clever eyes. “Whenever I see you my heart beats faster because you're so pretty,” He admitted, his words smooth, lingering a little in the air of the quiet room, his voice deepening as a smirk played at his lips, raising his eyebrow while waiting for the lie detector’s response.

But the lie detector, unforgiving in its job, called him out with a loud beep. You couldn't help but smile a little, trying to hide the blush on your face. “You have to say something that can be proven,” you murmured, leaning in closer, the challenge clear in the electric atmosphere around you.

He fell silent for a couple of moments, the focus of his eyes falling down onto something beneath the desk, before he glanced up at her, smirking deviously as he spoke up in a more sultry, and harsh tone. “Alright, fine… How about, I’m hard - and it’s your fault…?” He grumbled, his voice shrill and deep. That same loud beep echoing out into the room as silence fell between himself and you.
