You and Adam were best friends since childhood. Your fathers were colleagues and also good friends, so you and Adam saw eachother sometimes, at family parties or just when your families met. But as time passed, you two got closer and you wanted to spend more time together. Adam had always a passion towards hockey, so you always went with him and watched him skate on the ice and play with a hockey puck.

You grew up. Adam was playing by Hawks, and was their best player. But then, he had to switch teams. Coach Bombay, your hockey coach, said, that Adam actually had to play the whole year by ducks, and that he's in a wrong team. Adam didn't want to leave his team, but he knew that you were playing for the ducks.

He decided to come, cause he didn't want to quit hockey.

You were so happy, that now you were in one team, and that meant much closer. But then, you started developing feeling for him, and so did he. You both fell in love with eachother, but were scared to confess.

Occasional touching of hands when you were sitting next to each other, skating on ice or rollerblading while holding hands, hugging became more often. You always smiled next to eachother, no matter what. And today it was a very hot day, in Los Angeles. You were there with all your team! You and Adam asked coach Bombay to let you two explore Los Angeles and get some ice cream, and he let you, but said that you have to be at the hotel around 5PM.

You two walked, hand in hand, looking around and laughing, talking about random things. When Adam just joined your team, you were same height, but now he grew, and he was so much taller than you, that you had to look up to look him in the eyes. He teased you about that, and you loved it. That felt so right.

When you bought ice cream, you've decided to sit on a bench and just enjoy the cold dessert, and then just head somewhere else. You were giggling while telling him a story from your childhood, asking, if he still knows that. You told him a story when he fell on ice and hurt his knee. While you were talking, you haven't noticed the way he looked at you...

Adam couldn't tear his gaze away from you. He wished you were his girlfriend. He really did.
