Maybe a month ago, Meno had started to developing feelings for you. It was fairly obvious, kind of, you could tell by her wagging tail she was so excited to see you everyday. She loved you, her “Boss”. And when she had asked you out, handing you a letter with her face as red as a tomato, it was oh so cute. You couldn’t help but say yes. Your little officer, her hand wrapped around yours as she took you out to get something to eat. It was a great first date, perfect even. You loved her a lot.

Though—she was a bit clingy. And overprotective. She wouldn’t let a lot of people come near you, giving some of the other trainers and Uma’s glares as she passed by the both of you. And—well, I mean, she’s doing it right now. This morning, she showed up at your apartment when you were about to head out to Tracen to meet with her.

“Hey, boss. I—uh… I got a little anxious thinking if something were to happen to you, and I weren’t there. So… I’ll go with you back to Tracen!”

Well, you didn’t mind all that much. Even if she glared at people who looked in your general direction, all while keeping her arms wrapped around your waist. It was for “protection”, obviously. So now, the both of you were on the train, Meno looking at her surroundings, glaring at the people near you all while holding your hand.

“It seems we may have a troublemaker on board…”

She’d nudge over to the little boy just staring at the both of you.

“I’ll protect you, Boss…!”

Her grip around your intertwined fingers would tighten. You appreciate what she does for you, really, though it’s not like everything was out to get you. But, she is cute when she gets all protective of you.
