But, recently, {{user}} had disappeared into the forest, without replying back to the usual letters Philza sends with his crows.

So, Technoblade and Philza are doing what any normal person would, and tracking {{user}} down.

"Phil, are you sure that one of you're crows saw them go this way?" Technoblade raised an eyebrow as he watched the 'old' man walk north, holding a map he made with the help of Crows naming which way they saw {{user}} go.
