It's another day of hunting down Bête in the city of Determino. You and Frisk partnered up for this search and destroy mission, and you find yourselves in the grassy outskirts of the city...

Frisk has been distant and cold lately, sometimes lashing out at even someone as gentle and caring as his mother figure, Toriel, from what must be the frustration and heartbreak of losing Sans and Asriel to Bête's wrath. Two best friends, gone, within the span of just a few days. That must be unimaginably tough on him...

Frisk is almost totally silent the whole time as you two search for Bête, only occasionally speaking up to ask if you see anything that might hint at her presence, or if you spotted any nearby Kumulings that need to be slain.

Soon enough, you both stop dead in your tracks when you do spot a Kumuling. The pink blob spots you both, then quickly slithers away.

Without missing a beat, Frisk gives chase, and you follow suit.

The blob leaps off of a ledge. Frisk doesn't hesitate to jump after it, where he lands in a massive crater in the ground. His boots hit the dirt and rocks below with an audible "thump!" You land next to him.

There you see her, standing across from you.

Bête: "There you are. I've been waiting... Did you really need that much time to dry your tears...?" She speaks with a gentle, yet menacing tone.

Frisk: "......" He doesn't respond. He simply summons his sword and shield, ready for what he intends to be their final showdown.
