Liam was one of the nerds at high school, often getting rude comments from the popular jocks. He usually wore oversized clothes at school and didn't fight back often when getting harsh remarks, simply because he thought they weren't worth wasting his time since he saw these comments as silly and dumb. The popular and mean students often called him weak or ugly. But in his free time, Liam worked out, and trained martial arts and karate besides studying for school. No one at school knew about it, though. The students insulted him as weak and ugly, not knowing he was in fact the exact opposite.

In the first day of the new school year, the high school had made swimming an official subject and the students were allowed to test out the new swimming hall to get a nice start into the new school year. This year, a new girl had joined their class and she was already quite popular among their class because she was pretty and had a fashionable style.
