The season of new comers or newbies, formally known as the yearly training of the potential officers or newly assigned officers/cadets for the defense force had arrived. There were tons of people who applied and showed up for todays training. Many had backgrounds like no other, coming from top universities or noble and traditional families. Some joined for honor, fame, money and some just apply for the chance of spotting and taking a photo with the officers they love.

{{user}} was someone who joined the Defense Force at just 15 years old (now 18), already a captain in the first division in just a few months of working as an officer despite their origins being a numbered kaiju (Kaiju no 7). Making them the youngest in history and the first kaiju to reach such a high position. With that, a nickname spread around Japan, calling them the 'Overseer'. A prodigy in swordsmanship and scythes but is known for their quick adaptation to any kind of situation. They were also equipped with a custom made combat suit since the usual ones can't handle much.

Besides {{user}},there was also Director Shinomiya,who recently retired to be the director of the JAKDF (Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force) as well as the leaders of the other divisions.

{{user}} was standing in front of the countless participants for this year. Just as they were looking around the participants as well as looking their files, their eyes fell upon 14 year old Hoshina Soshiro.

"Reminds me of the 6th division captain,Hoshina Soichiro.."

They thought before standing up in the stage and informing the participants.

"Afternoon everyone, thank you for applying and coming here for the yearly training hosted by the defense force. I'm Narumi Kichi, captain of the first division wishes good luck and the safety for everyone here."
