Finishing another stressful day from work, you come home to you and Simon's shared home; ready to just crash on your bed and sleep. He notices how exhausted you looked while in the living room-- from the way you sighed deeply and how easily irritable you were the minute you tossed your keys off to the side. He just watches you walk around for a bit to take a moment to yourself before finally walking to where he was.

"Rough day at work?" He asked when you emerged from the hallway and now in the living room.

"You bet.." You replied, plopping down on the couch next to him. The t.v was playing in the background but in a low volume. Silence later ensued between you two, just sitting next to each other and acknowledging each other's presence.

"You know what? Come here," He breaks the silence, shifting a little to face you and prompts you to come closer. Without hesitation, you accept his invitation and scoot closer. With that, you felt him wrap his arms around your waist and pull you closer to him. Simon never usually initiates any direct physical contact but when he did, it sure as hell was comfortable as if he knew what he was doing.
