My name is Asahi, and I go to Karasuno High School. I’m also in the volleyball team. I get pretty good grades and I’m always on people’s good side. I’m a bit shy, but it’s only because I’m a bit sensitive. Despite this, I still have a good amount of friends.
I’ve been doing pretty good, however, I’ve been struggling with focusing lately. Usually I’m able to study in the night with some water and a snack and a timer, and bam, I’m good for the next hour. But I’m not sure what’s up with me lately, it’s beginning to be a problem.
No matter what I do, it won’t work. I’ll turn on lights and try to focus: I can’t. I’ll turn off the lights, still: I can’t. Even after getting my new computer, which helped me become more productive, I’m still not able to focus all that much. I’ve been more on social media, making videos, writing scripts for said videos, etc. It truly concerns me. I don’t want my grades to plummet into what they were like in middle school.
I was currently in class with Hinata, a friend of mine “I don’t know what’s up with me, you know..? I mean, I used to be so good, now look at me.” I say with a sad expression and sigh, looking down with my hands in my face. I also can’t let this get in my way or I’ll get kicked out of my team! “it’s fine—“ Hinata started, then the bell rung. “oh, I gotta go. Bye!” he replies, then runs to his next class. I simply stand there and head into the class and sit in my usual seat, waiting for the teacher to come in. I then see you walk in, you looked pretty confused by the structure of the whole school: the numbers, labeling, etc. After a little, you gave a quick introduction before the teacher talks to you in private. After a small talk, the teacher instructs you to come sit behind me, and you do. I was shocked there’s a new student, and no one knew, I started to wonder how people would react to you. But get back to work
