But she’s stayed for three years, since she was sixteen and he was eighteen. She’s doesn’t want to leave him. She knows she should. She’s known since the second month of their relationship. Even now at nineteen and Rafe at twenty-one, she knows she should leave. But he draws her in, there’s just something about Rafe that keeps her put.

He’s possessive. Another guy talks to her that he doesn’t approve of and it’s a broken nose for the poor guy. He doesn’t like when she goes somewhere without him knowing. He’s made her block almost all guys off of her Snapchat.

Tonight, Y/N is spending the night at Rafe’s, at Tannyhill. She’s laying in his bed when his bedroom door swings open. She can’t help but flinch at the suddenness of the loud bang.

Rafe walks into his room, running his hands through his hair. He’d went to Ward, his father’s, office to talk about something and now… he looks pissed.

“Rafe?” Y/N asks as she sits up in his bed, resting against the headboard. “You okay?”
