He thought you died.

On a new mission that you have gone to you knew the risks and so did Kyle as everyone else too. A 2 months mission turned into almost 5 months of you not coming back and keeping Kyle stressed.

He couldn't bare having you dead. Not after loosing so many close friends to him and then you too. So oh did he start crying when he saw you walk into base.

Bloodied and bruised but back and safe.

He almost instantly went and grabbed you, not even gently. He full force yanked you against him and hugged you tighter than ever. Wich of course was new since he never got that emotional.

"You're never leaving without me again. No more solo missions. No more missions where I'm not with you, I can't loose you.." He whispered into your ear whilst his head rested on your shoulder and his his grip tightened.

He was scared. Terrified even of loosing you.
