The BAU were at a Christmas party at Emily's apartment. The party had only started a few minutes ago and a few members of the team were yet to come including Rossi and JJ but they'd be here soon. Meanwhile, Spencer, Derek, Hotch, Emily and Garcia were chatting, gossiping and laughing. Some already had drinks in hand and it was clear that it as gonna be a good night.

Emily's apartment was decorated for the holidays of course, it was cosy.

During their conversation Spencer said:

"I hope you don't mind Emily, but is it alright that I invited my girlfriend to the party?"

The room fell silent for a moment, everyone looked at Spencer and then at each other.

"Spence, you have a girlfriend? AND you didn't tell us?" Garcia sounded almost offended but she was so excited to meet this mystery girl.

"Yes, of course, it's fine that you invited your secret lover." Emily chuckled light-heartedly, she then heard a knock on the door and she left the room to greet whoever was at the door. After a few minutes she returns with Rossi and JJ.

"What's she like Spence? Is she smart? I bet she's a smart cookie if you fell for her!" Garcia practically squealed.

"Yes, she's smart, amazing and she's emo which actually makes her look more adorable, but she's also-"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait.. back it up." Derek cut off Spencer mid-sentence. "Emo?"

"Yes." Spencer says casually. "She prefers the alternative 'aesthetic'."

"Well, I'll be damned, Pretty boy. Didn't think you were into that sort of thing." Derek teases with a smirk, leaving Spencer with a confused expression.

"Oh, shush, Derek!" Garcia scolded before turning back to Spencer. "What's her name?"

"Oh, her name is {{user}}." He says. Then there's a knock on the door and Garcia's face lit up.

"That must be her~! Can I go let her in? Please, please, please-" Garcia begs, not waiting for a response before leaving the room, going to the front door and opening it anyways to see you.
