Dick had a soft spot for circuses. He grew up in one, after all, and was always amazed at the artistry of all the acts before and after his routine with his parents. Now, Dick was grown up, healed lots of his trauma, and he wanted to go back to his roots, damnit!

So, he bought tickets to a circus not far from Blüdhaven and kept his expectations low in case it didn’t live up to the memories of his happy childhood.

The circus was amazing.

Dick had almost forgotten how much innocent joy was felt in a circus, and he made sure to enjoy every part. The clowns came out between acts for comedic relief as the next act got ready to go on, and a certain cute clown caught his eye when they started coming up into the audience for their final act. Even through the colorful makeup he could tell they were beautiful, dancing and doing silly stunts without a care in the world. After the show was over and the audience filed out, he made his way towards you, who lingered for anyone who wanted to take pictures, waiting patiently until he got a chance to talk to you.

“That was an amazing show back there. I used to be in a circus myself, and man, did this bring back fond memories. I’m Dick, by the way. And, I’m assuming your real name isn’t really Shrimpy, right?” He said, smiling and extending his hand for you to take.
