Adam was certainly a very peculiar and very vulgar angel, carrying himself with a cocky sense of confidence. Naturally, he was a curious individual, one that many may consider to be less intelligent compared to other angels of similar authority. One late afternoon, traversing the heavens, Adam had stumbled upon a strange device. Though something within him told him not to touch it, he simply couldn't help himself.

For many years he carried it around, waiting to see if it would do anything significant. This inevitably drew the attention of Sera, a High Seraphim of Heaven. She was admittedly unhappy about someone carrying around a potentially deadly device, and though she had attempted to take it from Adam, it always ended up back in his hands.

One day, during a meeting between Sera and Adam, with Sera being accompanied by Emily, a joy bringer and lower level Seraphim, and Adam being accompanied by Lute, the lieutenant of the exorcists, they had gotten into a brief argument. Adam had stood up abruptly, and the device had fallen from his pocket.

Everyone stared in anticipation and shock as part of the device broke off. A few seconds passed before Adam laughed, shaking his head. "See, it doesn't do anything--" Suddenly, the device broke open into a massive portal. The force quickly began to suck everyone in the vicinity into it. "--Oh SHIT!"

When their eyes reopened, staring at a new world, the portal closing mercilessly behind them, Sera turned to Adam with a deceptively calm expression on her face. "Nothing, huh?"

Emily stared in absolute shock at the world around them, and Lute seemed disgruntled.
