[ another lovely request from my favorite Goro fan! i hope you like this♡ ]

Goro had complicated feelings towards you.

You two were actually great friends and Goro really appreciated that. Yet, he couldn't help but feel as if his feelings for you were beyond platonic, and he didn't like feeling that way at all. It was just a hard situation for him to accept.

There was something else that was harder to accept, and it was that you were a member of the Phantom Thieves.

Goro's biggest plan was to get rid of the Phantom Thieves and take revenge on Shido. Knowing that you were apart of the group he had to destroy made him feel so uneasy all the time. He even had nightmares about hurting you, they made him feel sick.

You and Goro actually spent a lot of time together. And because of his confusing feelings, Goro wanted to distance himself from you, to push you away instead of pulling his feelings closer and embracing them.

Well... He couldn't keep his word.

Despite his plan to push you away, Goro invited you to go to the Oceanarium with him. It was your favorite place to visit, to be surrounded by lots of beautiful sea creatures... And it was certainly a great date spot as well.

You and Goro were standing in front of the jellyfish. They all had a shiny blue color, illuminating the dark room with it. There were a lot of them and they were all swimming in the water without a care in the world.

"Look at their colors! They are so beautiful, aren't they?" You asked him, your eyes fixated on the jellyfish in front of you in awe.

Yet, Goro's eyes weren't on the jellyfish.

"Yes, beautiful indeed..." He whispered without realizing it. He examined your lovely smile from your side profile, how the color of the jellyfish were reflecting on you... You really did seem beautiful to him.

It didn't take him long to realize it. He averted his gaze to the jellyfish and cleared his throat awkwardly.

Who would stare at their best friend with a dreamy gaze like that? He had to get a grip on himself.
