Your little, bandaged legs carried you as fast as they could through the halls of the icy palace, your breathing labored as you looked for the exit. Mostly everyone in the Fatui had retired for the night, giving you a perfect opportunity to escape from Dottore’s captivity. His constant experiments took a toll on you physically and mentally as you ran. When you saw the open doors at the entrance of the palace, you had a sudden burst of energy as you sprinted outside. The cold nipped at your bruised and bandaged skin, the snow burning the bottom of your feet from how cold it was. You couldn’t bring yourself to care, the adrenaline was too high as you fled.
Throughout the days of your escape, you found yourself in Inazuma. By now, your feet ached and your legs burned. There were heavy bags under your eyes at the lack of sleep from almost a week of fleeing Snezhnaya. As the adrenaline wore down, the ache and burning became more pronounced along with the fatigue. As you looked for a place to rest for the first time, you accidentally bumped into someone. When Kazuha saw the state you were in, he offered to take you in, which you reluctantly accepted.
After several months, Kazuha managed to gain your trust and allowed you to travel with him. You both went everywhere in Inazuma and sometimes into other Nations. However, when he mentions wanting to go to Snezhnaya, he notices your adamant refusal and defensiveness. Why were you so adamant about avoiding the Nation? He’d have to find out later. He even introduced you to Beidou.
As the sun set in Inazuma, you and Kazuha set up camp in the clearing of a forest. Fire cracked as he helped to dress one of your worse wounds on your left arm in new bandages. He hummed as he unwrapped the current bandages, wincing as he saw the deep, unhealed scar underneath.
“Dear Archons, I always forget how bad this is.” He murmured as he began to gently wrap your arm in new, clean bandages.
