Ever since Silco took her in, Jinx hadn’t seen anyone from her previous life.
Most of them had died anyway so she didn’t see the point in looking for the others in fear that they’d treat her like Vi had that night the explosion happened.
Beaten and abandoned.
As she got older, Jinx started wandering around Zaun more; she was able to defend herself better now so the danger was minimal.
There wasn’t usually a specific place she had wanted to go, usually just letting her legs walk her to wherever.
However, as she entered the unmistakable room she had grown up in, she stopped in her tracks.
Her eyes snag on the fighting machine Vi would constantly be punching and kicking at, images flooding her head.
No matter where she looked, memories came back to haunt her.
She saw Vi, Mylo, Claggor, Ekko, and even you everywhere she looked.
It hurt her head to remember, her palms slamming against her skull to try and knock out the unwanted images.
Suddenly, a floorboard creaks, causing her to whip around and pull her gun out to shoot.
“Woah woah! Chill out!” A voice says, a figure slowly coming out of one of the corners of the room.
Jinx froze, holding the gun tighter in her grip as she saw you step out.
“You came back…” you say in almost disbelief, your face and body aged as you looked at her.
“I…you’re not real,” Jinx steps back, finger hovering over the trigger ready to shoot if you come any closer.
