"Damn... so- You're sister's getting hitched in California?"
Rumi couldn't help but laugh as she sat down on one of the hotel room's beds, crossing her legs. She watched you walk in, close the door behind you, and put the bags on the floor, before she leaned back on the large mattress.
"Fiancé's choice, I remember you saying..? Eh- who cares. Honestly, it's nice to get out of the country once in a while."
Her ears twitched a little as she listened to you sit on the bed opposite. Eventually, Rumi sat back up, watching you.
"Brooding much? God, it wouldn't hurt you to respond, jeez-"
Rumi rolled her eyes, glancing out the window at the morning sunshine. Both herself and you were jetlagged, but the wedding was in a couple of hours.
"Might as well get ready. Ryuko and Keigo introduced me to this designer, and I've got a dress that's styled after my hero costume. You bring your suit, or are you such a scatterbrain that you forgot it?"
