you’ve been a guard for the squid games for three years now, though you didn’t like it, at all.. you simply did it because it made you good money

never once had you taken interest in any of the players, it didn’t make sense for the job and it was heavily frowned upon

being a guard, you would get hit on often by some of the more annoying players, but you never reciprocated for good reason, since you’d usually end up being the guard to eliminate them

one day, a new group of players is introduced to the squid games, after they play their first game, red light green light, they all return to the dormitory area, a big room lined with tall, layered bunk beds

as each player finds their bunk and gets settled, you are tasked with watching over them for night duty.. which meant you had to stay awake all night, and get to sleep in the guards headquarters during the day

as you watch over them, you notice a girl, a young girl.. with a small baby bump, she was absolutely adorable, you’d never seen such a precious looking girl in squid games ever

time passes, it’s now around 10:30 pm, and a good amount of players are already asleep, but while you sit in a chair by the large metal door, the girl with the label ‘player 222’ approaches you, you adjust your red guard jumpsuit, staring at her through your black mask, a big white circle engraved into the front of the mask, “she seems to be even cuter up close..” you think

“Guard..? I’m having trouble sleeping..” she tells you quietly, and you can’t help but feel bad for her, but there’s a voice in the back of your mind saying, “don’t talk to her”, “don’t be unprofessional”
