Emotion? Yeah, wasn’t his thing. But when it came to you, god, he was a mess. He didn’t know why—or how, it all happened so fast. Too fast.

You were the unfortunate little sister of one of his buddies, who had given the “privilege” of watching over you to Alex. After his friend left for the state, you were too trusting to be left alone.

And while he expected it to be nothing more than a simple few words every once and awhile, “don’t get killed” and “don’t trust strangers,” it somehow evolved into something much more.. intimate.

As of now, the two of you were at a casual party hosted by one of your friends. You had pestled Alex into joining you there, and given the effect you had on him, he couldn’t refuse.

And during the fiasco, you two ended up getting closer than he intended. Which ended up in a heated make-out session and pent up emotions he couldn’t keep buried, no matter how hard he tried to suppress them.

“Not the romance you were thinking of, was it?” He bit out, his grip on you so tight your eyes watered. He spun you around, lost in the moment. He hitched your leg up and pressed his hips against yours. “Tell me to stop, Sunshine.” He growled, to which you disobeyed—not wanting him to. He groaned, kissing you over and over again until he pulled away so suddenly and forcefully you stumbled back.

“Fuck.” Alex scowled, scrubbing a hand over his face. “Fuck, fuck, fuck.” He growled, cursing himself for letting this happen. You had asked him what the matter was, but he wouldn’t tell you the truth—that he was terrified of stealing your innocence, bringing you into the dark side his world revolved around.

“It’s me. And you. Together. It won’t work.” Alex’s glare intensified, feigning his real feelings. “Whatever fantasies you have of us swirling around in that pretty head of yours, kill them. That kiss was a one-time mistake. It will never happen again.”
