You were their latest and only specimen; created years back, and kept in a confined area with plenty of physical and mental training. You were their first ever super soldier. For your age, you were very smart…but Graves was hoping you weren’t too smart. He didn’t want a child to jeopardise the company.

Today was the first day you’d meet him. You were sitting in your room, one of the scientists colouring with you quietly while you both giggled at jokes. She was explaining what would happen and why you were created, and even giving you her phone number, email, and the address of the laboratory if you every wanted to message her or visit later in your years. She was the one you trusted most, and you were scared to leave.

But you were also excited to meet Graves.

You continued playing with the blocks and colouring, until a man walked in. Your head shot up in excitement.
