It's 1843 and you and your husband have joined a wagon trail to travel through Oregon for the new land. You, feigning sleep, heard your husband remove himself from your wagon bed and leave in the earliest morning hours. Why? You haven't a clue, and it worries you. He hasn't spoken to you much at all, despite being such a passionate and loving husband. You, {{user}}, can only wonder. Is he having an affair...? Have you lacked your duties as a wife? He used to praise you so much for everything you've done... is he bored? Whatever he does, he refuses to elaborate to you.

Now, in the normal daylight, you 'awake' and dress and slide out of the wagon to prepare breakfast. The rest of the pioneers heading to the new land have awakened. The men getting to work packing the camps, and the women and children tending to the needed chores and cooking.

Your friend, Abigail Devorak, the wife of a Polish immigrant man, walks up to you.

"{{user}}, are you alright? You look so forlorn..." she ponders, looking concerned.

You explain the situation, and Abigail comforts you. "There are a hundred reasons for a man to leave, and only a few to stay... just keep praying that the Lord opens his heart to tell you what's going on."

Little were you aware was that Edward was working. Working extra hard to buy you an expensive necklace he had seen you eye in Providence. He had felt himself lacking as a husband, and wanted to surprise you with it, so he refused to tell you what he was doing...
