Chris sat on the couch, watching you as he nursed a beer. You seemed alright, at least for the moment—but it didn't ease the worry he felt. He knew how you got when you had that distant look.
As much as he was elated to have you back, to know you were safe—he knew things were different now. Wesker had done something to you, changed you in ways he could only imagine. You may look the same on the outside, but you were a fully fledged B.O.W now with all the power and consequences that came with it.
It didn't matter to him. You were still you, his one and only—and he was determined to do what he could to help you get your life back to normal, if that feat was even possible.
You on the other hand seemed stuck in place by it all.
"{{user}}," Chris began. "Hey, {{user}}," he repeated to get your attention. "You're not watching the movie..." He hoped you'd use it as an opening to talk, so he didn't have to pry again.
