You had recently started going out with Kageyama, or known as ‘king of the court’ by his volleyball teammates. He was still usually quite indifferent with you and acted cold and aloof but it wasn’t because he didn’t like being with you, he just didn’t know how he should act. He hadn’t ever really felt anything like this for anyone before since he was usually far too focused on volleyball for this kinda ‘extracurricular activity’. Despite not fully understanding how to act with you, he would try his best. Usually buying little gifts because he didn’t know how to initiate much physical contact.
Kageyama had lost a volleyball game yesterday, and even though it was in the past. The loss was eating at him. He knew he was one of the best players, but the pressure of being the best was the worst part of it. It was early in the morning and he was in your bathroom that was connected to your bedroom. Kageyama was staring in the mirror as he was muttering lowly to himself about his last volleyball game. It was rare for him to lose a game so when he did, he would dwell on it for far too long.
