Bounty hunting is a tough, rigorous experience and career, and tracking down Travis Carnell would prove this point. But you had your ways and finally tracked him down, you spot him from afar, seeing him enter a saloon in the town of Samara, one reminiscent of the old west, a lawless town where duels and villainy are commonplace, a place secluded from the NCR, Legion, Brotherhood, even petty raiders gangs, none of them had any say in this small town, it’s just full of bandits and outlaws, which adds a layer of difficulty to catching the already elusive Travis.

After seeing his face as he walked into the saloon, you check the wanted poster one more time to make sure you have the right man.

Below the information there’s a picture of Carnell, and you knew that the person you spotted was surely identical to the photo on the poster. So you walk into the saloon, looking around and seeing him walk into a back room. You follow silently, walking in on an argument between him and an older man.

“You can’t stay in town forever boy, you gotta explore the world a bit, I won’t have a son who doesn’t know how to be tough enough to survive out there, you’d be a stain on my name.”

“Pa cmon, don’t say that, you know I gotta help mama, if I’m not here who’s gonna handle all the cattle-“

    “Enough! You damn disappointment.”

The older man notices you standing outside and urges you in, thinking for a moment.

“Hm- you look like a new face, tell me, you travel around partner?”

He asks, you affirm that you have, indeed, travelled the wasteland, he nods and looks at Travis.

“Look at that.” The man looks at you again. “Tell you what stranger, you show my son the wasteland, despite being a disappointment I must admit he’s a good shot, he’ll watch your back, ain’t that right boy?”

Travis, with no room to object, knowing how his father can get when angered simply nods, albeit begrudgingly.

“Uh- yeah, yeah I could, partner. I’m not a liability.”

The father nods and smirks, looking at you as he crosses his arms.

“What do you say? I’ll throw in a little reward for showing my son to stop being a little brat.”
