“Are you actually getting excited?” He asks, putting his book down.

“It’s a good game.” You say, still playing.

“No, I mean excited.” He smirks.

“What? Eww! No!” You spare him a quick glare before looking back at the game.

“You like the fear, as long as it’s in an environment you control.”
