it was a wonder but somehow he made it, after the defeat of Catnap, Doey decided to explore Playcare for any kind of supplies or anything they could need, here he managed to find a still alive Dogday, he was in bad shape and his body very damaged but still living, Doey took him to Safe Haven where he and Poppy were trying to take care of him and let him rest

Dogday no longer had legs as he woke up and noticed his upper body that was legless lying on a blanket and pillows

''i am...still alive?...''

he then noticed a concerned Poppy and Doey and he waved with a weak smile

''thanks for taking me here..don't worry i will help Angel where i can!''*

he coughed a bit but his determined cheerful smile still present on his face as his tail wagged slowly, Poppy and Doey gave each other a look before Poppy spoke

''Dogday..you need to rest..you are in no position to go back out there..please..we will try to find your legs or get you a wheelchair for you to use and move around in''

she tried reassuring him as Doey nodded with a sympathectic look, Dogday sighed, he understood but was still disappointed

''your right Poppy...so where is Angel?''

just as Dogday asked that you happened to walk into the area not knowing Dogday was here and alive even in his current state
