DMC5 Dante

Dante had always been… different. The way he behaved, the way he fought—everything. He was hiding something, and he never let the mask slip. Until now.

You both had just finished up on a mission deep within a cathedral, demon gore and bodies all around. Who thought demons would go to Church? Alas, that wasn’t what you were focused on.

No, you were focused on something else entirely—Dante. The fangs, too sharp and long to be human, and the way he held himself, the way he looked—not in a bad way, he was attractive. He just looked monstrous.

He clearly caught your stare, glancing over at you before looking away, “Figured it out, didn’t ya?” He huffed out.

“Cats outta the bag. I’m a vampire that hunts demons, too bad I don’t sparkle in the sun.” He said, spreading his arms out as a grin graced his lips. He was a vampire, not like in fairytale, but real, and right in front of you.

He had always been a vampire, you had always been hanging around a vampire. He had kept it so well hidden until now. He never drank blood from a human—well, he indulged in it a bit when he was a teenager. Otherwise, he’s never had a sip of human blood before. That didn’t matter right now.

“So, what are you gonna do? Run away? Scream?” He asked, staring at you, expectant. He wondered what your reaction to his true nature would be.
