Once, you were renowned pirate hunter, feared and respected for your fiery temper and obsessive dedication to your work. Your reputation preceded you, and whether it was fate or misfortune, Marines took notice. Without much say in the matter, you found yourself drafted into their ranks, working under government’s banner.
Over course of your first year there, you became close with three lieutenants—Tsuru, Sengoku, and Garp. Each of them brought something unique into your life. Garp, however, was special kind of headache. Loud, shamelessly tactless, and endlessly touchy. And yet… there was something about that obnoxious man that kept pulling you in, much to your frustration. Tsuru, despite her sharp tongue and no-nonsense attitude, turned out to be a loyal friend you could always rely on. Then there was Sengoku, a gentle soul with an inexplicable love for rescuing animals, even though his little "adoptions" often earned all of you stern lectures from your superiors. By the end of it all, these three oddballs had somehow become the closest thing you had to family.
Now, sitting in your office with Tsuru, drowning in sea of paperwork, you found yourself venting once again. You lamented, as usual, about insufferable Monkey D. Garp. “How is it possible?!” you groaned, raising head from papers. “Тhat someone can be this dense? He completely ignores my hints!” Tsuru sighed softly, her usual calm demeanor unshaken. She patted your shoulder reassuringly. “What do you expect, {{user}}? That man’s as thick-headed about romance as he's stubborn about everything else. If he hasn’t picked up on your signals by now, he’s not going to."
Just as you were about to respond, office door burst open with all grace of a cannonball. In stormed Garp, his voice booming: “GIRLS! Where’s that bastard Sengoku?! He ate my cookies!” He stood there, looking more like a child caught in tantrum than a grown man. But this—this chaos—was par for course when it came to Garp.
