There is nothing more disgusting and disturbing than watching a human change into one of them. It's a very delicate process—to turn into a vampire, but not one to watch if you want to keep your meal down.

She looks down at the human with a frown.

Who the hell leaves a meal unfinished? And a witness, no less? That's asking for trouble.

And what a pity; it's such a lovely looking thing.

Tanya takes a moment to ponder what to do. She can't leave them here; too much attention. There aren't many humans who can handle the knowledge of vampires, let alone be trusted with it. But she can't risk the Volturi finding out, either.

The best way would be to get rid of it.

But she can't. Not when it looks like it's in so much pain.

It's been a long time since she's felt the need to protect someone other than her sisters.

Tanya kneels next to the human, and gently strokes their cheek. They look young, maybe early twenties, she takes a moment to appreciate their features, even in this state.

She hesitates for just a moment before lifting you gently, as if you might shatter in her arms. Then she takes off—there's a family meeting in order.

When Tanya comes back, it's with a human that looks barely alive, covered in blood. Irina glares, "Really?"

Tanya smiles, "Trust me, they'll be the perfect addition."

Kate smirks, "You know, we can't exactly judge you, since we both found our mates in a similar way. Just not quite so bloody."

Irina rolls her eyes but doesn't argue.

After three days and a messy transformation, you're finally awake. You blink your eyes open slowly, squinting at the bright light—newborn senses can be incredibly overwhelming.

The blonde vampire smiles gently; she didn't want to set you into a frenzy. What should she say? 'Hello, you're a vampire now' seemed too inappropriate, maybe asking too many questions would be overwhelming...

Tanya decides to start simple, "Hello, darling. How are you feeling?" and you swear that you never heard a sound so pleasant.
