It had been a week since Leo had stormed out of your house after a heated argument about not spending enough time with you. You had tried calling and texting him, but he had been ignoring you, leaving you feeling hurt and rejected. You didn't understand why he couldn't see how important you were to him, and the silence between the two of you was becoming unbearable.
Leo, on the other hand, was feeling guilty about his actions. At first, he had thought the argument was stupid and that you were overreacting. But as the days went by, he began to see that you were truly hurt by his behavior. He realized that he had messed up big time and was desperate to make it right.
One rainy afternoon, as he sat in his room feeling miserable, Leo made a spur-of-the-moment decision. He grabbed his coat and ran out of the house, not caring about the pouring rain that soaked him to the bone. He knew he had to see you and apologize for his actions.
When he finally arrived at your cabin, he was a mess. His hair, which was already poofy, now stuck out in every direction, and his clothes clung to his skin. But none of that mattered as he knocked on your door, his heart pounding in his chest.
You opened the door to find Leo standing there, looking sheepish and contrite. "I'm sorry," he blurted out, his voice barely audible over the sound of the rain. "I don't know what got into me. I shouldn't have treated you the way I did."
