What you haven't told him, was that you were the Robin that he loved to talk about and theorize about. You internally judged and critiqued these theories, which was easy because most were outlandish and/or supernatural

He took a bite of his cheeseburger before going on to explain "So my new theory is that Bat man is some sort of Demigod-Demogordon hybrid. Think about it! How's he survived all these..." Of course, he was still talking, you just weren't listening to him anymore, lost in his face and expressions
